TRASH DASH AT DAWN

In line with its dedication to safety, community partnership, and operational excellence, the LINKED Group Security Team stationed at the First Gen Clean Energy Complex (FGCEC) carried out a proactive environmental initiative through a dawn shoreline cleanup dubbed “Trash Dash at Dawn.” Fifteen security personnel took the lead in clearing debris scattered along the FGCEC coastline—waste swept in by the southwest wind. In just one hour, the team collected and properly disposed of fifty sacks of mixed garbage, significantly improving the cleanliness and safety of the area.

Beyond removing visible waste, this initiative strengthens the security team’s ability to maintain a safer operational environment. A cleaner shoreline reduces potential hazards, enhances visibility, and supports smoother facility operations—aligning directly with the LINKED Group’s commitment to ensuring business continuity and providing clients with peace of mind. The effort also highlights the team’s proactive stance in preventing environmental risks that could disrupt daily operations or pose dangers to nearby communities.

“Trash Dash at Dawn” also reflects the organization’s broader vision of being a responsible corporate citizen that contributes to community resilience and supports local environmental stewardship. By addressing shoreline pollution early in the morning, the team not only demonstrated discipline and initiative but also reinforced the importance of collaboration between security personnel and the community they serve.

This initiative naturally embodies the LINKED Group’s core values. Integrity is shown through their willingness to act even beyond their formal duties. Operational Excellence is evident in the efficiency and discipline with which the cleanup was carried out. Employee Welfare and Wellness is promoted through meaningful activities that foster teamwork and purpose. Innovative Practices emerge as the team expands its role from traditional security tasks to environmental care. And through their service, they uphold Nationalism, contributing to a cleaner and safer Philippines.

Ultimately, “Trash Dash at Dawn” demonstrates that true security goes beyond protection—it includes caring for the environment and building stronger, more resilient communities, one initiative at a time.
