This was once again demonstrated by the dedicated personnel of Silver Link Security and Investigative Services, Inc. (SLSISI), whose vigilance and coordinated actions successfully prevented the unauthorized removal of company property at the UMC Pad in Upper Mahiao, Kananga, Leyte.
The incident began when a concerned employee reported suspicious activity involving the possible removal of company-owned scrap materials. Upon receiving the information, Security Officer Richard D. Omega immediately verified the report and promptly coordinated with the Detachment Commander. Acting without delay, security personnel were strategically deployed to secure the area and prevent any potential loss of company assets.
Through the combined vigilance and teamwork of SO Richard D. Omega, SG Nemesio D. Beltran, SG Robelindo P. Fin, SG Victorino L. Licayan Jr., SG Jaime E. Amit, and SG Evertson Culile, six youngsters were safely intercepted before they could transport approximately 100 kilograms of scrap materials intended for resale. The situation was handled professionally and without incident, demonstrating the team’s commitment to safety and proper security procedures. The individuals were subsequently turned over to the Kananga Municipal Police Station for appropriate legal disposition, ensuring that the matter was addressed in accordance with established laws and protocols.
This successful operation highlights the importance of vigilance, timely communication, and seamless coordination among security personnel. By responding quickly to verified information and executing established security measures with discipline, the team effectively safeguarded valuable client property while maintaining order and professionalism throughout the operation.
