In August 2026, LINKED Group’s Mindanao Cluster successfully conducted a series of face-to-face Live-Fire Marksmanship Training sessions to elevate the tactical skills and operational readiness of its security professionals. Led by Area Manager Zerdnel B. Yap, RCrim, and facilitated alongside the Mindanao Cluster Special Operations Group (SOG), the comprehensive exercises achieved a 100% attendance rate across all scheduled sessions. A total of 29 security personnel from key detachments participated in the program, demonstrating full commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
The training program was strategically executed across two main locations in the region. On August 1, 2026, ten security personnel—comprising eight members from BSP MRO Davao (Southlink) and two from FBI Toril Davao (Silverlink)—completed their training at the Goldcup Shooters Firing Range. The following day, August 2, 2026, nineteen personnel representing BSP Gensan Branch, BSP AP Tambler, and BSP AP Polomolok (Southlink) gathered at the Polomolok Firing Range in South Cotabato for their live-fire exercises.
Each five-hour module began with an intensive safety orientation reinforcing the Four Fundamental Rules of Firearm Safety, range commands, and personal protective equipment protocols. Practical demonstrations and live-fire drills focused on core marksmanship fundamentals, including firearm inspection, safe loading and unloading, shooting stance, grip, trigger control, sight alignment, and malfunction clearing. Participants engaged in supervised target acquisition under direct range officer coaching to refine shot placement and eliminate minor issues such as trigger anticipation.
The overall performance was assessed as satisfactory, concluding with flawless execution, 100% safety protocol compliance, and zero accidental discharges across all participating units. The successful completion of this initiative highlights LINKED Group’s ongoing commitment to building disciplined, highly proficient, and mission-ready security forces across Mindanao through continuous Live-Fire Marksmanship Training.
