Recognizing the importance of continuous professional development, the LINKED Group successfully conducted its Marksmanship Training on June 20–21, 2026, at Magpantay Firing Range in Brgy. Bulihan, Malvar, Batangas. The two-day training brought together 347 security personnel from various client accounts under the South Luzon Cluster, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to maintaining a highly skilled, disciplined, and operationally ready security force.
The training began with comprehensive classroom discussions led by the Range Officers, focusing on firearm safety, range safety protocols, and the fundamental principles of marksmanship. Participants were reminded that responsible firearm handling is the cornerstone of professional security service, emphasizing discipline, accountability, and strict adherence to established safety procedures.
Following the theoretical sessions, participants proceeded to live-fire exercises involving three firearm platforms: the .38 caliber revolver, 12-gauge shotgun, and 9mm caliber pistol. Through guided practical application, security personnel enhanced their proficiency in proper stance, sight alignment, sight picture, breathing control, and trigger discipline. These exercises provided valuable opportunities to build confidence while reinforcing safe and responsible firearm handling under controlled conditions.
Beyond improving technical skills, the training strengthened participants’ preparedness to respond effectively to real-world security situations.
