While serving as CCTV Operator and Acting Team Leader, Security Guard Bobby Almiranes noticed unusual activity on his monitors during an evening shift. A motorcycle rider had turned off their headlights after picking up a passenger carrying a blue eco bag. Sensing something amiss, SG Almiranes tracked their movements across the facility’s perimeter monitors.
When the individuals attempted to exit through Gate 2, SG Almiranes acted swiftly. He coordinated with his fellow security personnel at the gate to intercept the motorcycle under preliminary traffic and safety violations. Arriving at the scene himself to inspect the suspicious bag, SG Almiranes uncovered 4.6 kilograms of concealed copper brass taken from a facility tenant.
Rather than letting the situation slip through the cracks, SG Almiranes ensured full accountability. He alerted night-shift leadership, coordinated with the affected client company, and accompanied the turning over of suspects and physical evidence to the Tanauan Police Station, officially acting as the arresting officer.
For his alertness and unwavering commitment to duty, SG Almiranes was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from FPIP and distinguished honors from LINKED Group leadership.
