2024 Quick Facts

  • BFP recorded 18,217 fire incidents nationwide, an 11.2% rise from 16,387 in 2023.
  • There were 338 fire-related deaths, a 5.8% increase from 320 in 2023. Injuries also rose to 1,332, up from 1,047 the previous year.
  • Property damage was estimated at ₱13.83 billion, a 5.1% increase from ₱13.15 billion in 2023.
