In honor of International Women’s Month, LINKED Group hosted a special Women’s Empowerment Webinar on March 19, 2025. The event aimed to educate employees on women’s rights in the workplace and promote a culture of inclusivity. This initiative highlights LINKED Group’s dedication to championing gender equality and fostering a supportive work environment, reflecting the organization’s core values of employee welfare and wellness.
The event was facilitated by the Department of Labor and Employment – Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (DOLE-BWC), Women Workers Development Division with Bb. Jonalyn S. Calipay, Senior Labor & Employment Officer as the resource person. Participants gained knowledge about their legal rights, government-mandated benefits, and workplace protections against discrimination and harassment. Special focus was given to the Anti-Sexual Harassment Law & Safe Spaces Act, which aims to create safer workspaces for women. Additionally, discussions on gender-based violence addressed the importance of preventive measures and reporting mechanisms.
To enhance engagement, several interactive activities were conducted after the webinar. A Rebus Game encouraged critical-thinking and teamwork, while a raffle of items added excitement, with winners receiving self-care and wellness items from a health and beauty shop. The event concluded with a networking session, providing participants an opportunity to share insights and strengthen connections in a relaxed setting.
As part of the continued observance of International Women’s Month, the LINKED Group plans to expand future initiatives by introducing in-depth workshops, interactive panel discussions with successful women, and collaborations with LINKED Group that promote workplace equality. By reinforcing these efforts, the initiative ensures that women are equipped with the knowledge, support, and opportunities needed to thrive in their careers and personal lives.
