Twenty-six Maynilad personnel were stranded inside the Water Reclamation Facility, where floodwaters rose as high as six feet. The roving team, equipped with two rescue boats, swiftly evacuated all affected employees—ensuring everyone was safely accounted for with no injuries reported. Rescued individuals were transported to an elevated structure, navigating through areas still submerged in five feet of floodwater.
In addition to the successful evacuation, the team also facilitated the efficient distribution of food packs to address the immediate needs of the rescued personnel. The operation was well-coordinated, with all intended recipients receiving essential supplies.
At another Maynilad site located in IPO Dam, Bulacan, the response team acted swiftly to clear and trim a large fallen tree that had blocked a critical access route. The obstruction posed serious risks to pedestrians, vehicles, and nearby infrastructure, particularly amid the ongoing inclement weather.
The team successfully completed the operation, ensuring the safe removal of the debris without any reported injuries or damage to property. Their prompt action exemplified effective coordination and a strong commitment to public safety.
