Building a Resilient Future: he LINKED Group conducted its BCMS Awareness Training on June 9 and July 4, 2025. Batch 1 included 39 participants, and Batch 2 had 42. Both sessions took place at the Training Room, TGHC Building, 125 K-1st Street, Barangay Kamuning, Quezon City.
The training aimed to help participants understand the importance and benefits of Business Continuity Management (BCM). It also introduced the key requirements for establishing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and demonstrated how to integrate it into daily operations.
Mr. Eduard Afable, Ms. Catherine Corro, and Ms. Carolina Bautista from BRS Certification Services Phils. Co. Ltd. led the sessions.
To start, Mr. Afable presented an overview of BCMS, its core components, and the ISO 22301:2019 standards. He emphasized the importance of leadership, the need for clearly defined policies, and each employee’s role in maintaining business continuity.
Next, Ms. Corro explained how to identify risks and assess opportunities. She also discussed methods for setting practical continuity objectives. In addition, she introduced the Business Impact Analysis (BIA), continuity strategies, and recovery procedures.
The facilitators engaged participants in interactive workshops. They worked together to identify potential risks, analyze their impacts, and develop effective action plans.
By completing the BCMS Awareness Training, the LINKED Group strengthened its commitment to building organizational resilience. The training empowered employees with the knowledge and tools to implement strong continuity practices. As a result, the organization continues to foster a proactive culture of preparedness, supporting stability, adaptability, long-term success, and building a resilient future.
