The Walk to Wellness activity held on February 22, 2025, at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center was a resounding success, bringing together over 60 participants from both the Head Office and field personnel. This initiative underscores the LINKED’s commitment to fostering physical health, mental well-being, and overall wellness among employees while connecting with nature.
Participants embraced the challenge, completing at least two laps around the park and hitting a minimum of 5,000 steps—a testament to the event’s goal of encouraging an active lifestyle. The session highlighted the significance of regular physical activity in maintaining a healthy body and mind.
During the event, Mr. Rozel P. Narag, EVP – General Manager, emphasized that Walk to Wellness is an official company initiative and employees are encouraged to make wellness a consistent part of their routine, further strengthening the company’s health-focused culture.
To conclude the activity, a cool-down exercise was led by Mr. Narag, ensuring proper recovery for all participants. Following the session, attendees enjoyed a simple yet fulfilling breakfast, fostering camaraderie and reinforcing a culture of wellness within the organization.
With its growing success, Walk to Wellness continues to be an effective platform for promoting teamwork, health, and overall well-being. The company looks forward to even greater participation in the next session, inspiring more employees to take an active step toward a healthier lifestyle.
Stay tuned for the next Walk to Wellness—because every step counts!
