In a strong show of solidarity and commitment to wellness and sustainability, LINKED Group joined the “Walk the Talk+ Kapamilya para sa Kapaligiran at Kalusugan.” The event took place on June 30, 2025, at Consuelo Park Pavilion, First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP), Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Organized by the Lopez HR Council, it gathered employees, families, and partner organizations from across the Lopez Group.
The event aimed to:
✅ Promote health and well-being through physical activity
✅ Strengthen camaraderie across departments
✅ Raise awareness for environmental protection
✅ Encourage sustainable habits like reducing single-use plastics
LINKED Group participated with high energy and shared purpose. Employees walked alongside fellow Kapamilyas in a vibrant celebration of wellness, unity, and advocacy. The scenic FPIP route, filled with laughter and conversation, fostered connection and reflection throughout the walk.
Moreover, health and safety remained a key focus. Pre-event wellness reminders were shared with all participants to help them prepare. In addition, hydration stations and light refreshments were available throughout the activity. To further support safety, LINKED Group deployed 16 safety marshals and 5 Emergency Responders across the venue.
Meanwhile, the event emphasized environmental responsibility. Participants were encouraged to bring reusable water bottles, eco-bags, and recyclable plastics. As a result, these items were turned over to The Plastic Flamingo, contributing to waste upcycling and circular economy initiatives.
Another important highlight was the tree planting activity. Employees from various Lopez companies, including LINKED Group, planted 150 seedlings. Through this initiative, the group actively supported reforestation and strengthened local climate adaptation efforts.
Ultimately, Walk the Talk+ became more than just a wellness event. It served as a powerful example of shared values, environmental commitment, and employee engagement. For LINKED Group, each step taken during the walk reflected modern bayanihan—a collective effort to build a healthier, more resilient, and sustainable nation.
